This Privacy Policy explains how The 10 Forms Arabic App ("we", "our", or "the App") collects, uses, and stores information when you use our service.

Information We Collect

When you create an account we collect:

• Email address — used solely to identify your account and allow you to sign in from multiple devices.
• Password — stored as a one-way cryptographic hash (bcrypt). We never store or transmit your password in plain text.
• Learning progress — your drill scores, spaced-repetition intervals, and vocabulary review history, stored so your progress syncs across devices.

We do not collect your name, phone number, location, contacts, or any other personal information beyond what is listed above.

How We Use Your Information

• To authenticate you and keep your session secure.
• To sync your learning progress across your devices.

We do not use your information for advertising, analytics sold to third parties, or any purpose unrelated to operating the App.

Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted on secure infrastructure. Passwords are hashed with bcrypt (cost factor 10) before storage. Access to the database is restricted to the App's backend server only.

Third-Party Services

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third parties. We do not use third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.

Text-to-speech audio: Pronunciation audio is generated entirely on your device using your operating system's built-in text-to-speech engine (Apple's speech synthesis on iOS, the device TTS engine on Android, or your browser's Web Speech API on web). No Arabic text or personal data is sent to our servers or any third party for audio generation.

Transactional email: When you request a password reset, your email address is transmitted to Resend solely for the purpose of delivering the reset email. Resend is subject to its own Privacy Policy. No other emails are sent, and your address is never used for marketing.

Data Retention

Your data is retained for as long as your account exists. If you delete your account or request deletion, all associated data (email, hashed password, and learning progress) is permanently removed from our systems within 30 days.

Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us at the email address below. We will respond within 30 days.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects when changes were last made. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
